Description
Manage and oversee the daily financial operations of the organisation.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Manage STL project budgets and reporting.
Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved financial efficiency.
Profile
A successful Finance Lead should have:
Hold a full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and public sector accounting standards.
Proven experience in financial management and reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and tools (D365)
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
