Description

Profit and Loss - account analysis, variance reporting
Balance Sheet - account reconciliations and analysis
Monthly and quarterly Management Accounts and group financial statements
Sales reporting and profitability analysis (product, customer)
Journal entries - creation and posting to Xero
Liaising with Local authorities on payments due.
Working on Local authority spreadsheets for annual uplifts.
Liaising with Housing benefit teams.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
Proven experience in managing financial operations within the public sector or a similar environment.
A strong understanding of public sector financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
